SUMBANAN (Dont loose your marbles) In the most basic sense what we have made is an educational tool utilizing the principles of kinetic art – with this we are able to show a process of creativity that does not involve a preconceived idea (control) – rather an unfolding of the image itself (reference: WLM)

⦁ Our emotions are tools for communication, science refers to it as psyche.
⦁ August to September is the season of conception (fall). The transition from summer to winter and this artwork marks a beginning of shorter days and longer nights. (the burnout)
⦁ The colours we use reflect the current season and its accompanying meaning, to those who know, you know.

⦁ This piece highlights the paradox of chaos and order (also in relation to chaos as emotions and order as logic).
⦁ The simplicity of the tool is intended to avoid the over analysis of the art piece considering that it is already tackling complex ideas – which makes it approachable and relatable.
⦁ We are also presenting together with the tool, is its output to show the different stages and steps to learn and understand this method better.
⦁ Here we are also pointing towards the developement of the “minds eye” or seeing through your mind — which we believe is an important part of understanding/appreciating art.
⦁ The “minds eye” also plays pivotal a role in the creation/unfolding of meaning which will determine our connectivity to the arts.
⦁ We also are encouraging a different understanding/view point with regards to collaboration (reference: WLM) which leads to a “shared meaning” (a phenomenon in organizations, companies, churches and etc).
⦁ This piece also utilizes a “game” type layout injecting playfulness and fun into our relationship with art.
