This artwork emerged through a process of collaboration between Phil and Viviana, evolving across many stages with the shared intention of understanding one another—both as individuals and as artists. Our ongoing dialogue and search for common ground shaped not only the work itself but also the way we learned to collaborate.

The piece began with a simple, unified form, stretched across the canvas in clarity and restraint, using two primary colors yellow and blue. Figures envisaged journeying through these two elements, searching for meaning, for balance for resonance.

Over time, the form transformed. The colors gained strength, intensity deepened, and contrast became the defining feature. In constant conversation, we explored how to infuse the work with greater energy and presence. The artwork became like a map, a map of two elements suspended in space, charting the dialogue between us and the unfolding of our shared vision.
