It’s not everyday that an artist comes by with enough work and a legacy to look back at, but that’s what happened last 14 March 2026, when we opened the exhibition “in/Forming” by Danilo “Danni” Sollesta.
It wasn’t Valentine’s Day, but it might as well have been with the sheer number of guests old and new who came to the gallery to see new works from Sollesta’s iconic series and mediums, and spent the evening in bright conversation and discovery.
A proud son of the Visayas, with projects spanning the islands from Viva Excon to the Dumaguete Terracotta Biennale, he hails from the creative family that also includes Kitty and Maria Taniguchi, and Amelia Duwenhoegger.
