There was no better way to spend a Sunday than to see art being made up close and personal!
Six artists from our current exhibition held simultaneous printmaking demos last Sunday, 19 January 2025 as part of the programming of “Echoing Messages: A Print Exhibition.”
They shared their knowledge and expertise to an eager and enthusiastic audience with the following techniques: Marz Aglipay for Stamp-making, Kristen Cain for Collagraphy, Gabi Nazareno for Woodcut Printmaking, Angela Silva for Botanical Gel Plate Printing, and Irma Lacorte and Tin Palattao for Relief Printmaking.
Despite the limited time, many guests were lucky enough and get to pull their own prints as well as learn some basics from each technique!
