The excitement could not be contained as Dumaguete’s son Hersley Casero opened his first major solo exhibition “And Then…” last March 8, 2025!
Celebrating his 40th year, as well as a new beginning which is the birth of his first child, Casero went all out with a series of paintings and sculptures that drew on his life experiences and how it all came together to tell a story, not just about himself, but for everyone. Poignant scenes of love, life, and growing up in Dumaguete surely resonated with the audience — with the heartfelt message that every moment is an opportunity for a new start.
