Renowned Negrense contemporary artist, Hersley-Ven Casero, is set to formally unveil his latest exhibition, Onion Kids – Homecoming, in Mugna Gallery on April 15, 2023 at 6 pm.

The exhibition highlights three of Casero’s critically acclaimed works – Onion Kids, Free Falling, and Paligid – first showcased at Art Fair Philippines 2023, garnering positive reviews and admiration.

Additionally, the exhibition debuts a new series aptly titled “Catch a Moment,” featuring unassumingly random photographs, taken during a photowalk in Dumaguete City. These highlight Casero’s innate ability to capture the essence and ephemeral beauty of everyday life.

Since opening the exhibition last April 5, the upcoming Artist’s Reception is generating significant attention within the art community, as it offers a unique opportunity to experience the compelling and thought-provoking works walking through the exhibition together with the artist.

Open to all, the event encourages attendees to explore captivating visual narratives presented in an exhibition poised to leave an indelible mark on the contemporary art scene. With Onion Kids – Homecoming, Hersley-Ven Casero and Mugna Gallery does one for the books in an unforgettable and influential showcase of homegrown creative talent.
