MUGNA Gallery played host to the Opening Reception of Hersley-Ven Casero’s Onion Kids – Homecoming exhibition on April 15, 2023.
This marked the celebrated artist’s debut solo photography exhibition, drawing a considerable crowd eager to explore his captivating work.
The exhibition highlights the Onion Kids series, featuring three visually arresting photographs: Paligid, Free Falling, and Onion Kids. These pieces first captured the public’s imagination at the recently concluded Art Fair Philippines 2023 in Makati early this year.
In addition to the Onion Kids series, Onion Kids – Homecoming presents Catch A Moment, an extraordinary, never-before-seen collection of 12 vibrant photographs that skillfully portray everyday life in Dumaguete.
The evening was further amplified by the original music of local artist budoyX, whose creative tracks infused the occasion with a dynamic burst of vibrancy and flair.
To experience Hersley-Ven Casero’s groundbreaking solo photography exhibition, guests can visit MUGNA Gallery, open from 12pm to 8pm, Wednesdays through Sundays. The Onion Kids – Homecoming Exhibition will run until May 7, 2023.
