Mugna Gallery has just unveiled its latest exhibition, “Kaleidoscopia: Seeing Through The Artist’s Lens.” This exhibition features the art works of five young local artists—Rey Labarento, Portia Nemeño, Samnathis, Sandy Dupio, and Jude Millares.

From July 29 to September 3, everyone is welcome to enter the world of “Kaleidoscopia.” This exhibition celebrates the human spirit by highlighting the beauty of individuality and the strength of artistic manifestations.

Meet the Artists

Rey Labarento
With a profound appreciation for life’s simplicity, Rey Labarento captures the essence of everyday moments through his art. His orange hues reflect the ebb and flow of daily life, reminding viewers to cherish the present and find joy in the ordinary.

Portia Nemeño
Bold and unapologetic, Portia Nemeño challenges emotions through her fiery red paintings. Her art delves into the depths of love, anger, and passion, weaving powerful narratives that resonate with the soul.

Samnathis
Samnathis invites viewers into a world of warmth and comfort with his art. His yellow hues radiate tranquility, acting as a bridge between the wonders of life and the essence of evolution.

Sandy Dupio
In a mesmerizing blend of blues, Sandy Dupio’s canvases take us on a journey of grief and healing. Her artworks serve as both an elegy to cherished memories and a poignant longing for closure.

Jude Millares
Jude Millares paints optimism with shades of green. His structured artworks inspire viewers to conquer obstacles and embrace growth, offering a beacon of hope for those facing challenges.

Art Moves PH – A Colorful Collaboration
What sets “Kaleidoscopia” apart is the collaboration among these five artists. Each of their works acts as a unique kaleidoscope, reflecting their personal experiences and perspectives. Together, they have crafted an immersive and interactive installation inspired by the ark of the covenant—a symbol of divine presence and protection.

This exhibition is a testament to the spirit of Art Moves PH, a community of traditional and digital artists, which all five are members of. With a shared goal of bridging the gap between artistic mediums, the collective promotes each artist’s distinct ideas, styles, techniques, and masterful artworks.

Kaleidoscopia is the group’s landmark project.

Unity Amid Diversity
“Kaleidoscopia” is more than just an exhibition; it is a profound statement about the power of diversity and unity. Through art, these five artists share their stories, dreams, and hopes with the rest of the world. Their kaleidoscopic perspectives remind us that life, like art, is an ever-changing view, an overlapping and intersecting of collective experiences.

Don’t pass up the opportunity to share this view. Plan your visit to Mugna Gallery between July 29 and September 3, and embark on a adventure through the eyes of these artists.
