Collaboration and chance worked hand in hand last 18 October 2025, as Bukhad exhibiting artists Deadlocks, George Pette Aranas, Jomir Tabudlong, and Totem Saa facilitated the “Sumbanan: Don’t Lose Your Marbles” workshop at Mugna Gallery.
With a little theory, participants were briefed on the concept developed by Deadlocks and Aranas for their Bukhad work, which was informed by previous experiments in The Well’s Ladder Method, developed alongside Totem Saa.
And then the fun part began, as the participants unleashed their raw creativity using the “sumbanan” or tool. A variation of marble painting, the process targeted the participant’s subconscious in order to create a fresh kind of pure, unlimited art.
