5 Terracotta Artists Dyn Quilnet, Jana Jumalon, Jerry Catarata, Mikoo Cataylo, and Hemrod Duran open Mugna Gallery’s 4th Year Anniversary Exhibition “Bahandi” featuring a variety of Terracotta and Ceramic works all bound together by each artist’s relationship to the material, the origins written on the walls of the gallery like intimate letters or anecdotes.
Local artists, friends, family, and even new faces turn up in waves despite the outpour of rain, sharing stories and beer. Mugna Gallery also introduces new faces in its team highlighting the road the gallery is taking in its 4th Year—connecting to wider audiences, and creating events that brings us closer to our communities and nurturing the next generation of artists and collectors of art.
